Its not the best update, but you know what I mean. They could've done something better to another weapon which people are more likely to use.

actually the magnum isnt all that bad,it works the same way as all other precision weapons,just destoy there shields then BOOM headshot

Its great in EVERY halo game except halo 2 it was pretty horrible infact it looked completly different and the one in Halo CE was the best cuz it was stable and stayed in place untill shot even then it was incredible and it still is. the plasma pistol on the other hand is a terrible excuse for a gun.

the plasma pistol is awsome man,for killing people,its just a no,but it can take down peoples shields with one over charge,and shut down vehicles for an easy hijack >:]

yeah but i find plasma pistols are easier to use,since when they get close enough they will lock on to the target and they dont bounce,sorry but when im taking out a shield or hijacking a vehicle i want my weapon to actually hit the guy

Its Beast in every halo. What you need is a plasma pistol and the magnum and you kill alot.

Do not underestimate the pistol. I go through the campaigns of Halo CE and ODST almost entirely with that pistol.

I thought it was excellent in Halo 2, so long as you had two or had a plasma weapon with you. It was awful in Halo 3. Amazing in ODST. Almost as good as Halo 1 in Reach, but balanced by possessing the eight rounds of the M6G in Halo 3.
